Gail Guaspari, 70, of North Attleboro died December 9 surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was the wife of John Guaspari for the past 40 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Joanna Clifton and her son-in-law Robert of Bedford, NH; and her son Michael Guaspari, her daughter-in-law Kari, and her grandson Dashall of Germantown, NY.
Born in Norwood on February 3, 1950, the daughter of the late Walter and Veronica (Olsavitch) Grusheski, she was raised in Norwood and Walpole. A graduate of Walpole High School, Gail went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the College of White Plains, now part of Pace University.
She held a number of jobs in public relations and corporate communications. It was while Gail was working in a marketing communications position for Honeywell Information Systems that she and John met.
After her first child (Michael) was born in 1982, Gail stepped away from her professional career to become a full-time homemaker and devote all of her energies to her real passion, her family. Where possible, though, she also found time to spend on her hobbies, which included cooking, gardening, knitting, and taking in any stray cat that happened to wander into her backyard.
Gail’s funeral service will be private, with burial on Saturday, December 12, at 12:30 PM, in Highland Cemetery in Norwood. To view a live stream of Gail’s Mass you can go to www.saintmaryna.com and then access the link below or go directly to this link below.
