Kevin A. Sousa, 46, of Westport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Katherine (Edge) Sousa.
Born in Fall River, son of Lillian M. Cook of Westport and the late Jeffrey Medeiros, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. He was a mechanic for Eversource Energy, Wareham. Kevin enjoyed truck pulling at the Westport Fair and working on cars and trucks, but most of all he loved spending time with his children.
Including his wife and mother, survivors include 2 sons: Owen R. Sousa and Ryan J. Sousa; a step-father: Steven L. Cook of Westport; father-in-law: Ronald Edge of Fall River; mother-in-law: Marilyn E. Edge of Fall River; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was the maternal grandson of the late Rudolph P. "Sonny" and Lillian E. Carreiro.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home from 5 - 8 P.M.
At the family's request funeral services will be private.
