Devoted Father of Margaret “Peggy” McPhail and Gloria McPhail & Best Friend and “honorary son” Carlos Caban. Cherished son of the late Blanche (Dennehey) and Wesley Duncan McPhail Sr. Dear Brother of Ethel “Bitsy” Delvecchio and late Mary I. McDonough, Blanche “Sissy” Lombard, Joan McPhail, Gloria McPhail, Sandra Guarino, Ronald Copell & Paul Copell. Lovingly Survived by many devoted nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, friends and neighbors. Visiting Hours will be 4PM-7PM on Wednesday at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Monica’s Church Thursday at 10A.M. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Neponset. Retired longtime employee of Saga Holiday Travel. Wes was an avid sports fan, especially for the Patriots. Lifelong member of The Orchard Park Oldtimers. He lived a Claddagh life where love, loyalty and friendship were his way of life. Wes was a character and had a wonderful sense of humor. Wes will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know and love him. May the road rise up to meet him, may the wind be at his back and until we meet again may God hold him in his hands.
