Frederick A. Martignetti, of Medford, formerly of East Boston and Monte Falcione, Italy, December 5th. Beloved husband of Josephine (Schepis) Martignetti. Devoted father of Frederick A. Martignetti Jr. and his wife Donna of Stoneham, John Martignetti and his wife Marjorie of Medford and Ronald Martignetti and his wife Janice of Medford. Loving grandfather of Michael, David, Ashley and her husband Ryan McCue, Megan, Grant, Nicole and Justine. Fred has been a resident of Medford since 1969. He lived in East Boston prior to that after emigrating from Italy. He worked as a machine assembler at Compo Shoe industries in Waltham for 35 years. He enjoyed playing golf, especially at the Cedar Glen Golf Course in Saugus and was also an avid bowler. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Thursday December 10th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the Mass on Thursday only. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Social distancing protocols must be followed and masks are to be worn by all in attendance.
