Arthur Lawrence Wagner, 80, of Medway died December 4 in his home surrounded by his family following a long illness. He was the husband of Paula M. (Story) Wagner for the past 52 years.
Born in Boston, September 19, 1940, the son of the late Arthur J. and Lillian (Barry) Wagner, Mr. Wagner was raised in Allston and Framingham before moving to Medway 41 years ago.
Arthur had been a mixer for Ken’s Food’s Inc. in Marlborough for many years before retiring.
Mr. Wagner served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Arthur enjoyed reading, music, taking long walks with his dog Zeus, and old cowboy movies.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Denise Alves and her husband Jeffery of Blackstone, David Wagner of South Yarmouth, Nathan Wagner of Long Beach, California and Melissa DaSilva and her husband Marcos of Medway.
He is also survived by his siblings, Marilyn Bourque and her husband Jack of Medway and Charles Wagner and his wife Janice of Worcester.
He was the brother of the late Carol Miller.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amanda and Sarah Alves, Colby Wagner, Bodhi Palardy and Olivia DaSilva.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His funeral service will be private with burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
