Irving E. Gilman, 86, of Bradford, formerly of Chelsea, died November 5th after a brief illness. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Morris and Lillian (Finkelstein) Gilman. Irving was raised and educated in Boston a 1949 graduate of English High School. Irving served in the army during the Korean War.
Irving was employed at the A.A. Raphael Co. as a typewriter repairman. He was also a longtime resident of Chelsea since 1964 prior to living with his niece.
Irving is survived by his nieces’ Beverly Minsky, Desirae Hudson, Nicolette Ford and nephews Arthur Minsky, Michael Ford and Lawrence Altman. He was predeceased by his sisters Frances Minsky, Selma Masel, Rose Gilman and Tobey Donovan, and late nephews Jerald Minsky and Randy Donovan. Due to Covid 19 pandemic private graveside services will be held in the Rabbi Isaac Elchonen Cemetery, Everett.
