After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Robertson-Caulton passed away on November 27, 2020 in Conyers, Georgia at the age of 55. She leaves behind her husband and best friend, Wesley Caulton and stepchildren, Devin and Siera Caulton.
Cindy was born on January 8, 1965 in New Bedford, MA, to Herbert L. Robertson of New Bedford and the late Loretta ‘Tiny’ (Pina) Robertson.
Cindy was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. She enjoyed laughter, cooking and caring for her family and beloved dogs Dallas, Mia and DJ.
In addition to her husband, stepchildren, and father, she is survived by her siblings, Michael Robertson of Fairhaven, MA, Kevin Robertson of Dartmouth, MA, Brenda Gomes of South Carolina, Sherrie Lewis of Georgia, and Lisa Duarte and Wanda Robertson, both of New Bedford; her mother-in-law, Rita Caulton of Ohio; her sisters-in-law, Rhonda Caulton of Ohio and Jody Caulton of Georgia.
She also leaves behind her uncles Kenny and Isaac Pina and aunt Joyce Mendez who all had a dear and special place in her heart. Cindy is survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, that she loved dearly.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her brother, Lance Corporal Gary Robertson, her father-in-law, John Caulton, and her grandparents, Louise and Luiz Pina and Herbert and Bernice Robertson.
Cindy touched the lives of many and will not be forgotten. She was woman of understanding and of generous heart.
Due to COVID guidelines, her funeral service and burial will be private for immediate family only on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 10:00 am. Funeral arrangements are handled by Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, MA.
