FALL RIVER – Cheryl M. Marion, age 67, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 at St. Anne’s Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Cheryl was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Arthur P. and Mary (Oliveira) Santos and the longtime companion of Al Munroe.
Cheryl enjoyed listening & playing music, often singing the blues and playing harmonica. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, often watching sunsets, and finding her artistic inspiration through nature. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
Cheryl was also a devout Christian with a kind heart.
She is survived by her daughter: Lorna Marion of New Bedford; siblings: Doreen Santos Levrault of New Bedford, Richard Santos of Fall River, Arthur Santos of Pawtucket, Nancy Fontaine of Fall River, and David Santos of El Cajon, CA; grandchildren: the late Jared Almeida, Keaton Costa, and Alyssa Costa; many nieces & nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend Cheryl’s wake on Monday, Dec. 7th from 4-8 P.M. with a wake service at 6:30 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A private memorial service for immediate family will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8th at 10:00 A.M. Private burial to follow in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
