Scott Allen Carpenter, 42, Anderson passed away at his home, November 30, 2020.
He was born to Martha and the late Allen Carpenter, also of Anderson. He is survived by his sister, Amy Anderson of Anderson; his brother, Paul (Renee) Carpenter of Mapleton, Illinois; an uncle, Everett (Susan) Carpenter of Wichita, Kansas; aunt, Gigi (Karl) Rammling of Ellicott City, Maryland; and one cousin, Christopher (Marne) Rammling, of New Windsor, Maryland.
Scott was a graduate of Tremont High School, in Tremont, Illinois where he lived until his early 20’s. He had battled kidney failure and other ailments over the last several years. Scott will always be remembered fondly by family and friends as he regularly offered encouragement as well as gratitude for the friends he had. His gentle kindness with family and a willingness to strike up a conversation with anyone he met are things for which we will all remember him. He loved to talk about all things mechanical and really loved the nostalgia of childhood memories of family, friends, fun times and neat places. Scott knew Christ as his savior and we all look forward to seeing him again some day. He was a gentle soul.
Cremation was chosen with no services at this time.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
