Mary Joanne (Cook) McClellan, born December 14, 1927 in Shirley, (Hancock County) Indiana; passed away November 30, 2020.
Joanne was the daughter of Erskine A. and Goldie (Kellum) Cook. She graduated from Kennard High School in Kennard, IN and attended Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee for one year.
She was a clerical and secretarial employee at both Perfect Circle, in New Castle, and Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Anderson, where she worked for approximately twenty-eight years. Joanne attended North Anderson Church of God, now Madison Park Church of God.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce A. Friend of Cicero; sister-in-law, E. Anne McKown of Aurora, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" M. McClellan; her parents; brother, James W. Cook; sisters, Kathryn (Cook) Brown and B. Maxine Miller and three infant sisters.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
