Obituary

Kesline Calixte Mathurin (66) of Brockton died November 29th in the Boston Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Jacques Marie Joseph.

She was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, daughter of the late Christian Calixte and Bertha (Laguerre) Antoine. Kesline was in charge of administrative work in the healthcare state department of Port-au-Prince. She was an editor for most big writers and film makers in Haiti. She was big on education and also a teacher in nursing schools in Haiti. She touched everyone she met in a special way that they’ll tell you in their own words, “she was an extraordinary woman with heart of gold, kind, sweet, a good listener, very compassionate, and generous. When she walked into a room, she would light it up with her gentle smile”. Kesline loved to cook, listen to music, and visit her family and ‘children’ whenever she could as she had so much to do already.

Kesline is survived by 2 sons, Jerry and Jacques Kesler Mathurin, 12 brothers and sisters, 4 grandchildren, Arielle Milagros Mathurin, Jerry Allen Mathurin (JJ),
Dominic Robert Mathurin and Ashton Joseph Mathurin.
