Felix M. Chala (77) of Brockton died December 1st in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the loving husband of Ana (Rodriguez) Chala.
He was born in Bani, Dominican Republic, son of the late Luis M. Chala and Ana M. Perez. Felix retired as 1st Lieutenant in the National Police Department in Dominican Republic. He enjoyed music, was always happy and known as a funny individual.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Felix Chala of Lynn, 5 daughters, Maria Chala of New York, Aracelis Chala of Pennsylvania, Lutergia Chala of Washington, Milbian and Lucy Chala both of Brockton, 6 brothers, Napoleon Chala of Lynn, Marino Chala of Boston, Erasmo Chala of New York, William, Diogene and Casiano Chala all of Dominican Republic, 4 sisters, Milbian Chala of Venezuela, Leida Chala, Zeneida Chala and Eridania Romero all of Boston, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Monday December 7th from 10 am to 12 noon. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
