Obituary

ALTON BAY---- Hattie Andersen, 84, of Mauhaut Shores Road, passed away at her home surrounded by family, on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Hattie was born on December 21, 1935, in Kenver, KY, the daughter of Ernest and Edna (Little) Mullens. The family moved to Michigan but Hattie spent most of her adult life as a California girl.
Hattie worked as a benefits specialist for the Montebello School District. She and her husband Wesley Ray Andersen were married May 28, 1991. She loved to attend plays at the theater. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, used to sing with a group to local nursing home residents. She volunteered at Senior Net helping the elderly learn to use a computer. She helped transport friends to appointments and events. She loved her piano, writing, and sketching and huge collection of genealogy research. Most of all she truly loved her family and kept in touch with everyone.

Hattie is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Caron and her husband Wayne of Alton Bay, her sister Jessie Ainsworth, her grandchildren, Lyndsey, Erik, Stacey, Toni, Donnie and Billy, as well as 18 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Hattie is predeceased by her loving husband Wesley and daughters Victoria Gentry and Krista Parker, sister Harriet Berriman, and granddaughter Donna Jean Roam.

A Memorial Service will be held in Michigan at a later date.

A Private Burial will be held at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Cypress, California, at a later date.
