Mary Elizabeth Collins (Stanford) of Medford passed away peacefully in the care of her loving family. She was 88. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary E. (Rogers) Stanford. A devoted wife mother and grandmother, she will be missed by those who knew her.
The beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Collins, Mary was a devoted mother to Raymond Collins and his significant other, Cheryl, of Brockton, Robert Collins and his wife Michelle of Billerica, the late Donna Hourihan and her late husband Michael of Medford. Mary was a proud grandmother of Keri, Keith, Tonya, Kris, Dennis, Ryan, Sean and Samantha. She was a loving great grandmother to Emma, Abigail, Hannah, Connor, Hailey, and Madeline. She was a dear sister Carole White of Haverhill, Paul Stanford of Malden, the late Eugene and Edward Stanford, both formerly of Somerville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home on Monday, December 21st at 9 AM followed by a mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 20th from 4 through 6 PM in the funeral home. Social distancing protocols will be observed throughout the services.
