Elizabeth A. “Betty” Falanga, of Medford, November 27th. Beloved wife of the late Edward W. Falanga. Mother of Edward W. Falanga Jr. and his wife Lisa of Medford, Robert Falanga and his wife Linda of Rochester, NH and Peter Falanga and his wife Kristin of Minneapolis, MN. Grandmother of Anthony and his wife Allison, Amanda and her husband Michael, Derek and his fiancé Nikki and Andrew. Betty has been resident of Medford for most of her life. For many years she worked as an LPN at Grove Manor Nursing Home in Everett. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and playing the piano. She also enjoyed singing in the First Community United Methodist Church Choir in Medford. Betty was an avid traveler who especially liked taking voyages on cruise ships. First and foremost, she enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Thursday December 3rd at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 185 Summer St., Somerville at 11 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday December 2nd from 5-8 PM.
