Marsha F. Fletcher, 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Tim Moorhouse and the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Fletcher was born September 17, 1952, in Wilcox County, Georgia, to the late Carl & Bessie Lane Fincher. She was a 1970 graduate of Wilcox County High School. She was a homemaker and an avid Elvis Presley fan. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald “Flop” Fletcher of Fitzgerald; a daughter, Kim Harrell of Ocilla; a son, Jason Fletcher of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Jordan & Alissa Fletcher, Ryan Fletcher, Sydnee Fletcher, Jackson Harrell, Kyle Paulk, Korey Paulk, and Anna Fletcher; a great-granddaughter, Kenleigh Paulk; a brother, Paul Fincher of Eastman; and two sisters: Audrey Peterman of Montezuma and Betty Peacock of Eastman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Gabriel Drake Yancey; as well as eleven brothers and sisters.
