NEW BEDFORD… Stephen J. Chieglis, 83, of New Bedford passed away November 27, 2020 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Joseph M. and Stella J. (Rutkowski) Chieglis and had resided in Fall River for most of his life.
Mr. Chieglis was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church. He had worked as a Presser for Duro Finishing for many years and loved gambling.
He was the brother of the late Walter Chieglis and is survived by a niece, a nephew and several cousins.
Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland St. Fall River followed by inurnment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
