Catherine Louise (Capps) Curry, 86, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Community Hospital, Anderson.
She was born on May 4, 1934 in Mecca, Indiana, the daughter of Joe and Mary (Murphy) Capps.
She retired from Payless Supermarkets following over 20 years of employment. Catherine had also worked at Cracker Barrel and Big Lots and was an avid sports fan, enjoying the Reds and the Pacers.
She is survived by her two sons, Tim (Carol) Curry of Fishers and Phillip Curry of Anderson; three grandchildren, Vince Curry, Elizabeth (Alex) James, and Michael Curry; sister Bea Shoemaker of Clinton, and many nieces and nephews.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Curry in 1998, and six siblings; Bill, Peggy, Sharon, David, John “Stub” and Pat.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 11AM to 1 PM at Rozelle-Johnson
Funeral Service. A private family funeral will be held and entombment will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Catherine.
