FALL RIVER – Gary Amaral, age 35, passed away suddenly of a tragic accident on November 23, 2020. Born in Fall River, he was the loving son of Manuel L. and Maria J. (Pacheco) Amaral. Anyone who knew Gary knew he always spoke his mind, he had a heart of gold, and would do anything for anyone. He loved his family and friends, dogs, had such a way with children, love the outdoors, biking with friends, fishing trips with his brother Peter, get togethers for any reason as he loved to be social. You could always pick him out of a crowd. He had a love for clothes and sneakers like no other, matching from head to toe. In the recent years, he had really lived his life we are thankful for that, but also heartbroken to lose him now this tragic way.
Along with his parents he is survived by his siblings Carla Amaral (companion Leo Garceau) of Fall River and Peter Amaral (wife Kristina V. Amaral) of Berkley; niece Brianna Williams; nephews Peter Amaral Jr and Lucas Amaral; his best friend Mikey Marchand and many other friends, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins from the U.S. to Canada and Portugal. Gary was predeceased by his niece Leanna Williams, his maternal and paternal grandparents, uncle Dennis Lourenco and cousin Kevin Amaral.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a mass of Christian burial at Santo Christo Church at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, Dec. 1st. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
