Obituary

Heniger Horton, 89, of Anderson, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at his home.
He was born on November 24, 1931 in Sneadville, Tennessee, the son of William and Dora (Fairchild) Horton.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Delco Remy for 42 years and also worked for Car Mack. Heniger enjoyed league bowling, pool, fishing, tending to his lawn and Bluegrass festivals.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah “Sally” (Drollinger) Horton, whom he married November 17, 1973; six children, Teresa Price, Judy (John) Little John, Joe Berry, Debbie (Jerry) Fields, Sandy Aynes, Doug (Mandy) Horton; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren on the way, and his best friend, great granddaughter Trinity.
Heniger was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings; Carroll, Chester, Ben, Silas, Elma, JoAnn, Ina and Cecile.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 2-4 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Chesterfield Food Pantry.
