Linda L. Boulette, 73, of Derry, NH passed away Saturday November 21, 2020 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born August 25, 1947 in Derry and was a daughter of the late Warren and Laura (Herbut) Alexander. Linda was a lifelong resident of the Derry area. She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy and cosmetology school in Lawrence, MA.
Linda was a hairdresser for over 42 years before her retirement, and 31 of those years as the owner and operator of Linwood Beauty Salon in Derry. She enjoyed painting, was a former candlepin bowler and loved the ocean. She and her husband Dick owned a year- round home in Wells Beach, ME for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard E. Boulette; her son and his wife, Richard W. and Ann Marie Boulette; two grandchildren, Kayli and Alex Boulette; her sister-in-law, Harriet Lemery, four nieces, Karen, Lisa, Cheryl and Dawn; and four nephews, John III, Michael, Brian and Barry.
Private funeral services were held by the family with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. Due to State of NH guidelines, all guests are required to wear masks, minimize contact and maintain social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Easter Seals NH, 555 Auburn St., Manchester, NH 03103, or the New Hampshire SPCA, P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry assisted the family with arrangements.
