Robin H. Orr, 55, of Chester, NH, died Thursday, March 9, 2006 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. Mr. Orr was born in Warwick, RI on March 31, 1950, a son of the late Richard and Eileen (Eagle) Orr. He attended and graduated from Merrimack College. Mr. Orr was employed by Lucent Technologies for over 30 years. He also attended Northern Essex Community College where he received his degree in nursing and was a registered nurse at the former Birchwood Nursing Home in Derry. Mr. Orr was a member of the NRA and also helped with the Veteran's Breakfast at Pinkerton Academy. He was outgoing and friendly with a great sense of humor. He was a talk radio fan and he could fix anything.
He is survived by his wife, Linda M. DeCosta of Chester, two daughters, Gina Orr of Derry, Melanie Murray and her husband Randy of Salem, NH, a son, Blaine Orr of Windham, NH, two step-sons, Joseph DeCosta of Las Vegas, NV, David DeCosta of Derry, a step-daughter, Jennifer DeCosta of Las Vegas, two grandchildren, Emily Orr of Derry, Tyler Orr of Windham, two brothers, Richard Orr, Jr. and Randy Orr, both of RI, a niece and a nephew.
Visiting hours were held 1:00-4:00pm Sunday, March 12, 2006 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Funeral services were held on Monday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Cremation followed.
