John “Jack” Swanson, 69, of East Bridgewater passed away on October 21st at the Brockton Hospital with his family by his side. He was the son of Meredith Swanson and the late Kenneth Swanson.
He enjoyed the outdoors as a young man, trapping and duck hunting on the river, camping, fishing and big game hunting in northern Maine, also walking his dog Buddy.
Over the years he worked at Halliday Lithograph, Carver Cotton Gin and several area contractors.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children John and Jacqueline Batista of Bridgewater, his sister Carol Murray of East Bridgewater, his brother Keith Swanson of Halifax, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burial will be at Central Cemetery at a later date
