Timothy Lewis “Tim” Tucker, 61, of Ty Ty passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Tim at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Ty Ty First Baptist Church Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Greg Sheppard will officiate with a eulogy to be given by Leon Holden. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 21, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Matt Harden, Ricky Manders, David Bailey, Norman Michaud, Bobby Bennett, Darien Henderson and Randy Thrash will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of T&A Mobile Homes in Tifton.
Born November 27, 1958 in Ocilla, Tim was the son of the late Homer Woodrow Tucker and Lila Mae Vaughn Tucker. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Herman Crawford Tucker and J. P. Tucker. He was the owner of T&A Mobile Homes in Tifton and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
Tim is survived by his fiance’, Michelle Manders of Ty Ty; one son and daughter-in-law, Austin and Kayla Tucker of Ty Ty; fourteen brothers and sisters, Donie Tucker of Virginia, Lorene Tucker Wood of Waynesville, Odell Tucker Briones of Orange Park, Florida, Idell Tucker Alcantara and Jean Tucker Bennett, both of Brunswick, Richard Tucker, Vaughn Tucker, Howard Tucker and Joe Tucker, all of Ty Ty, Billy Tucker of Cairo, Dee Tucker of Chula, Kathy Tucker Davis and Lawrence Tucker, both of Tifton and John Tucker of Omega; two grandsons, Jaxon Tucker and Drake Tucker; and many nieces and nephews.
