FALL RIVER – Jean Paul Berube, age 89, a resident of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 AT Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, Jean was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Tavares) Berube and the son of the late Joseph O. Berube & the late Adela (Dionne) Berube.
Prior to retiring, Jean worked as a Foreman for the City of Fall River Cemetery & Parks Dept. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Jean loved all sports, his little dog “Sassy”, and especially spending quality time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his children: Ann Marie Berube (husband Steve Smith) and Robert J. Berube (wife Tracey) all of Fall River; siblings: Joseph “Uncle Ronnie” Berube of NH and Muriel Morin of TX; grandchildren: Alexander Jean Berube & Paige Nicole Berube; many nieces & nephews. Jean was also the brother of the late Lucille Dextraze, Rolande Wells, Theresa Donais, Robert Berube, and Alliette Desmarais.
Following cremation, visitation for Jean will take place on Saturday, Nov. 28th from 9-10 AM in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
