Dorothy V. (Nutton) Adams age 85 of Methuen, MA, died Wednesday at the Nevins Rehabilitation Centre, Methuen, MA. She was born in Methuen, MA, where she was a life long resident and graduated from Searles High School.
Mrs. Adams was a substitute teacher for Tenney High School in Methuen MA for many years. She also was a waitress at the Red Tavern for over 30 years. She attended St. Monica’s Church, Methuen, MA. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in Methuen, a lady Elk in Lawrence, MA, and enjoyed line dancing with the Rainbow Club of St. Theresa’s Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Allan S. Adams. She was also predeceased by a son Allan W. Adams.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 13 at 10:00 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 12 from 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
