Obituary

Richard (Ricky) Joseph Brown, died November 10, 2020, with his sisters by his side at Brockton Hospital. Services will be held November 21, 2020 from 2 to 4pm at Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St, Brockton, MA 02302.
Ricky was born August 28, 1955, in Brockton, MA to Pauline S. Brown and the late Joseph R. Brown. Growing up in Brockton, Ricky was known for his outstanding athleticism and was a 4-season athlete at Brockton High School. After graduating in 1972, Ricky joined the US Army where he was trained as a Marksman. Upon leaving the Army, he worked as a Tradesman, specializing in carpentry and painting. His hobbies included going to the Cape, being at the casino, playing pool, eating sherbet, and making early morning phone calls to his friends and family.
In addition to his mother, Ricky is survived by his sisters Kim Brown of Whitman, Karen Reilly and her husband Donald of Brockton, Miko Brown of Boston, Michelle Simmons of Brockton, and Erica Simmons of Brockton. His brothers Justin Brown Blanchard of Lewiston, Maine, Richard Simmons of Brockton, his cat Trixie, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, his sisters Rhodella (Della) Brown, Nadine Fernandes, Irene Simmons, Lisa Simmons, and his brother Corey Brown.
As Ricky would say "The bottom line is" Ricky was friendly, funny, loved his family and friends he will be greatly missed by all.
