Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Whatley Jennings, 101, of Gainesville, GA will be held Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM in The Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn, GA. Mrs. Jennings earned her wings, Thursday, November 12 in Gainesville following an extended illness. There will be no formal visitation.
The daughter of the late Lewis Ross and Effie Whelchel Whatley, she was born in Ashburn. She was the widow of Franklin Alexander Jennings who passed away on February 26, 2008. Mrs. Jennings was a member of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Jennings was a graduate of University of Georgia and Auburn University. She was the retired Director of Guidance Counselors for The Richmond County Board of Education for many years.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
