William F. "Billy" Sullivan, 60, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at his home after a battle with cancer. Mr. Sullivan was born in Stoneham, MA on October 11, 1945, a son of the late Leo F. and Edith M. (Conway) Sullivan. He was a longtime resident of Derry, formerly living in Chester, NH. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Class of 1964. Mr. Sullivan was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, with “Des-Ron” 7 fleet during gun-fire support and gulf mining. He was a life member of the VFW Salem Post. He was employed as a driver for George Weston Co. and was a route salesman in the uniform industry for 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah (Motley) Sullivan of Derry, two daughters, Suzanne Davis of Olivia, NC, Stacie Sullivan of Nashua, NH, a son, Scott Sullivan of Port St. Lucie, FL, five grandchildren, Chelsea Sullivan and Sean Sullivan of FL, Joseph Davis of NC, Alyssa Walker and Ryan Dugas of NH, two brothers, Richard Sullivan of Reading, MA, Robert Sullivan of Columbia, NH, four sisters, Barbara Dolloff, Midge Gould and Jane Sullivan, all of Chester, Ginny Harris of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following cremation a graveside service will be held at the Great Hill Cemetery, Chester at a later date.
