Norman G. Belanger Jr., age 71, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on November 10, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Roberta (Pezzullo) Belanger and was the son of the late Norman and Edna (Legrow) Belanger and is also survived by his stepmother, Catherine (Duarte) Belanger. Norman loved being in the family home and neighborhood, where he lived nearly all of his life. He enjoyed road trips, cooking, gardening, shopping, taking photographs, and was an avid Boston sports fan, always ready to discuss the local teams. Norman would always look forward to the holidays and was known for the Christmas decorations which annually adorned his house and yard during the season. Norman attended Taunton schools, was a communicant of St. Jude’s Church, and he retired from Reed & Barton after over 40 years of employment. Norman leaves behind sisters Joan (Belanger) Kelly, Diane (Belanger) Clark, and brother, Brian Belanger, along with their spouses, John Kelley, David Clark, Mary Beth Belanger, and sister in law, Joan (Knatz) Belanger and wife of his late brother, Richard Belanger. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews and his beloved Jack Russell Terriers, Spot and Princess. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton on Wednesday, November 18th at 10am. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
