Helen Waunita Balletto Conner, 95, a former resident of Johnston, passed peacefully on November 10 in the care of Hebert Nursing Home, where she resided for the past 20 years. Known as Waunita to those closest to her; she was the wife of the late George Balletto Sr. and the late Leonard Conner. Her legacy starts as the loving mother to George Balletto and his wife Grace and the late Gary Balletto Sr and his wife Ann “Pinkey”. She was the beloved Nana to George, Kimmy, Gina, Brenda, Lisa, Rhonda, Gary Jr and Dion; the great grandmother to 14 and great great grandmother to 3. Her joyful spirit will be with us always!
