Richard “Cory” Bromlow, 41, of Omega passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at his residence. A private family funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. A graveside funeral service will be held for Cory at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020, at Omega Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
Craig Davis, James Whittle, Walt Archer, Lee Sumner, Mitchell Weldon and Brian Blanchett will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 30, 1979 in Tifton, Cory was the son of Rick and Rita Smith Bromlow of Omega. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas “Thurman” Smith and Ralph and Eunie Mae Bromlow. He was the owner of Country Financial in Adel. He loved spending time with his family and he enjoyed grilling and following FSU football.
In addition to his parents, Cory is survived by his wife, Shelley Parks Bromlow of Valdosta; one son, James “Jimbo” Bromlow of Valdosta; one daughter, Abbey Parks of Valdosta; his mother-in-law, Lorraine James of Valdosta; his father-in-law, Donald Parks of Tallahassee, Florida; his grandparents, Joann and Al Dube of Abbeville; his grandmother-in-law, Olga James of Sylvester; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
