DUDLEY – Cecilia R. (Krystyniak) Klatecki, 96, died Monday, November 9, 2020 in her home in the presence of her family. Her husband, Victor W. Klatecki, died in 1972.
She leaves a son, Michael Klatecki and his wife Maria of Medford; a daughter, Catherine Damian and her husband Michael of Dudley; 3 grandchildren, Teresa Klatecki, Victor Klatecki, and Andrej Klatecki and his wife Carly; a sister, Harriet Bomba of Worcester; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Krystyniak and by her sisters Sophie Tokarz, Helen Serwa, Mary Krystyniak and Stasia Beresik.
She was born on April 23, 1924 at the family home on Pearl Street in Webster, a daughter of Stanislaus and Katherine (Bielot) Kryztyniak. She grew up in Webster and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1942 and then completed courses at Becker Junior College in Worcester. She moved to Dudley in 1954.
Mrs. Klatecki was a bookkeeper all her working life, first at Dupont Real Estate in Webster and then at the former St. George’s Flowers & Gifts in Dudley.
She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Bobola Church.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 13, at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street (please meet at the church). Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Donations in her name may be made to either Catholic Charities, 10 Hammond St., Worcester, MA 01610 or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Sacred Heart Church, 297 Main St., Malden, MA 02148. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
