Vernon Ralph Solomon (77) of Brockton died November 8th at home under hospice care surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Jane M. (Maile) Solomon.
He was born in Brockton, son of the late Francis Solomon and Eva (Easton) Solomon. Vernon was a self-employed construction worker and a US Navy Veteran. He was a manger in the 1980’s for the Plymouth County Hockey League, sponsor of the Brockton Men’s Softball League, president of the Brockton Midget Football League, manager and coach of the East Side Midget Football League, also enjoyed all sports and was known to be generous to all.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a brother Richard Solomon of Maryland, 2 sisters, Joanne Solomon of Brockton and Barbara Rogers of Mass, (father of the late James M. and April M. Solomon), his grandson Vernon-James Victor Solomon of Raynham, several nieces and nephews.
Following Cremation, Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
