WEBSTER – Craig E. Sargent, 50, died Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard after being stricken ill at home.
He leaves the parents who raised him, Donald P. and Jeanne M. (Girouard) Kender, with whom he lived; a brother, Roger Kender of Palmer; 4 sisters, Deborah M. Ricciuti and her husband Michael of Shiloh, NC, Bonnie L. McGee and her husband Michael of Charlton, Kathleen A. Gabis and her husband Tom of Dudley, and Elizabeth L. Kender of Webster; several nephews and nieces; a brother-in-law, Daniel Rice of Webster; his best friend, Peter “Pete” Bannister of Webster; and many other acquaintances. His sister, Christine M. Rice of Worcester, died in 2012.
He was born on July 18, 1970 in Southbridge and lived in Webster all of his life. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1988.
He was friendly with everyone and loved helping other people.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, November 10, with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street (please meet at the church). Burial will be be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Visitation will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
