Ludgero (Nuna) (LJ) Barbosa (26) of Brockton died unexpectedly November 5th in Connecticut.
He was born in Campana, Fogo, Cabo Verde, son of Antelmo (Xale) Barbosa and Maria (Tuinha) (Alves) Monteiro both of Brockton. Ludgero enjoyed traveling, was known for his funny sense of humor, being very protective of his family, had great love for children and was a person that light up a room by just walking in.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandfather Ludgero (Nuna) Barbosa and his paternal grandmother Maria Barbosa, his maternal grandmother Alvarina Alves, 6 sisters, Vany and Vanusa Barbosa both of Brockton, Vanilda Barbosa of New York, Cleima Barbosa of Cabo Verde, Jasmine and Jennifer Gomes both of Boston, a brother Marciel Monteiro of Brockton, a niece Grace, his best friend JD, his step parents, Dilva Barbosa and Nene Gomes, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday November 11th from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services in the Funeral Home Thursday November 12th at 10 am with Pastor Ualdo Vieira officiating. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing from 9 am prior to services.
Due to the COVID-19 Massachusetts Phase 3 Guidelines the Funeral Home will be open to 40 percent occupancy, face masks are required and please practice social distancing. We are all in this together.
