Marie T Buonaugurio, lifelong resident of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, November, 4th, 2020. She was 87. Born in Somerville, she was the cherished daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (DiNitto) Buonaugurio. Marie had a rewarding career teaching at the Osgood Elementary School, where she taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade in the same classroom for 40 years. Marie's father had a natural green thumb and miraculously cared for his garden. In spite of her father's belief that in his passing the garden would die. After Marie's father passed, she was now the care taker of the garden, it flourished and thrived producing various abundance of flowers, fruits and veggies.
Marie was the dear sister of Tom Buonaugurio of Danvers, and the late Peter and Nick Buonaugurio. She was the loving aunt of Mary Vetree and her husband Wayne, John Buonaugurio and his wife Kathy, Tom Buonaugurio and his wife Rose, Mike Buonaugurio and his wife Hope, Lisa Buonaugurio and her husband Wayne Hancock and Mark Buonaugurio and his wife Casey. She leaves behind many loving great nieces and nephews.
