Mary Rogers, 45, of Rebecca, Georgia, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Friday, November 6, 2020, at Arp Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia, with Brother Eric Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Rogers was born December 2, 1974, in Irwin County, Georgia, to Mary Dianne Gibbs Jacobs and the late Fredrick Thomas Jacobs, II. She lived in the community all of her life and graduated from Fitzgerald High School. Mrs. Rogers received her LPN degree from East Central Technical College and was an LPN for Dr. Reese. She was a member of Rebecca Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Paul Rogers of Rebecca; two daughters: Brandy Rogers and Brittany Starnes & Michael; (Abby Gay Ashe, who she considered her own); two grandchildren: Colton McCurdy and Caroline Starnes; her mother, Mary Jacobs; two brothers: Tony Jacobs and Patrick Jacobs. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
