James E Cussen III, 89, of Franklin, MA

Jimmy was born in Boston, MA on June 1, 1931. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joan (Alimenti) Cussen. Devoted father of daughters Carolyn Kelley and husband Robert Kelley, Cheryl Melendy, and Christine Reeder and husband Clay Reeder. Proud grandfather of Drew Kelley, Jake Kelley, Michael Bates, Abby Bates, Nickolas Reeder and James Reeder. Brother of four wonderful sisters; the late Alice Rumplik, Peggy LaBollita, Anne Higgins and the late Patricia Pfingston. Well remembered uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Longtime resident of Wellesley, MA.

Jimmy was the Safety Director of Operations at Anchor Motor Freight for 37 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially at “the cottage” in Pembroke, MA. He was an avid water skier and shared that love by teaching his daughters, grandkids and hundreds of others to water ski.

Due to Covid-19 a private funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, Franklin on Saturday November 7th, at 10AM. Family and friends are invited to view the funeral Mass by clicking stmarysfranklin.org
