In Taunton, Francis L. Medeiros, age 68, passed away in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness while surrounded by his loving family on October 31, 2020. Francis was born in Taunton, the son of the late Francis & Ruth (Carey) Medeiros. Francis was educated in Taunton schools and had resided in Taunton his entire life. He served his country during the Vietnam War while in the U.S. Navy. Francis enjoyed collecting antiques, watching his favorite television shows, gambling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Kendra Souza of Taunton and Shannon Medeiros and her husband Joshua Tokiem of Lakeville; his siblings Dennis Medeiros, Joy Grunwald, Darcy Perry, Gaye Petrillo, Sharon Lopes and the late Carol LaChance and Sheila Julio. Francis also leaves his many beloved grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Friday, November 6th at 11:30am. Visiting hours are kindly omitted.
