Mr. James M. Watson, a resident of Salem, New Hampshire, formerly of Andover and beloved husband of Susan M. (Plummer) Watson, passed away at his home on Friday evening, October 30, 2020. He was 62 years old.
Born in Methuen, Massachusetts he was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Joan (Lynch) Watson. James was a graduate of Lawrence Academy and had worked for his family's construction business, J. W. Watson, Jr., Inc. for many years. In his spare time, James enjoyed playing golf, cooking and entertaining. He loved life. James will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Susan, James is survived by his loving son and daughter; Sean J. Watson and Emily E. Watson, both of Salem, New Hampshire, sibling's; Joyce Watson of South Portland, Maine, Buddy and his wife Jane Watson of Andover and Julie J. Watson Guild and her partner Mike Reilly, both of Andover and nieces and nephews; William Guild and Laura Reilly, Ryan Watson and his fiancé Christine Wright, Kristen Watson, Matt Anderson, Matt Ferrier, Corey Plummer, Ashley Plummer, Christopher Plummer, Michael Plummer. James was also a Great Uncle to Ryan and Christine's son Joseph Watson.
His Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Free Christian Church, 31 Elm Street, Andover on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 11AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, from 4 to 8 PM.
