Lori Ann Mollicone of Johnston, Rhode Island passed away Monday October 26, 2020. Lori, affectionately known as "Etta" by her younger sister, Susan, was adored by her family and friends as the life of the party. Be it Christmas Eve, or Easter Sunday, no occasion was complete until she arrived. Family was everything to Lori, her most cherished possession. As a recent retiree from 30 plus years at Twin River Casino, she spent her days with her mother, Joan, and evenings with her friends and other family members.
Lori had a heart of gold. An avid movie goer, she was always the first to suggest attending the latest release after a Thanksgiving Day dinner or a Christmas day celebratory meal at her brother, Mark and sister in law June's Coventry home. Most of all, music was her passion and Lori loved going to live music concerts and learned to play guitar at an early age. She still visited her former co-workers at Twin River often and to play a few slot machines. Lori loved to be adventurous traveling the world with her friends.
Lori graduated from Rhode Island College and received her Bachelor's Degree with the Class of 1982. Lori also was an avid sports fan, her favorite teams where the: New York Yankees, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins and the L.A. Lakers. She mostly admired Tom Brady and Derek Jeter.
Lori is predeceased by her father Joseph B. Mollicone and her stepfather John Lewis and survived by her mother, Joan Mollicone Lewis, her brother and sister-in-law Mark J. and June Mollicone, sister Susan M. Mollicone, ex-brother in law, Michael K. Glucksman, nephew Mark and his wife Brianna Grenier, niece Amanda LaMountain and her husband Craig, niece Victoria Glucksman, and great nephew Jack LaMountain.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Phillips Church.
