Isidro, P. Marcelino, age 80, passed away on Wednesday October 28, 2020 surrounded by his family. Born in Aqua Retorta, São Miguel, Açores he was the son of the late Jose and Honorina (Pimental) Marcelino, and devoted husband of Maria Santo Cristo (Barreira) Marcelino. Isidro was a member of the Don Carlos Club, enjoyed playing the Portuguese guitar, cooking for his family, trips to the horse and dog tracks as well as to the casinos.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Isidro Marcelino (wife Ann-Marie), Debora M. Poverman (husband Steven), sisters: Josephine Teixeira, and Eduarda Moniz, grandchildren: Zachary Marcelino (companion Tess), Savannah Marcelino, Jacob Poverman, great grandchildren: Gage and Carter. He was also the brother of the late Lazaro Correira, Mariana Medeiros, and Carmen Marcelino.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Tuesday, November 3rd with extended calling hours from 8:30-10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
