William C. Salzarulo of Medford passed away on October 27. He was 88 years old. William was the beloved husband of the late Angelina (Luongo) Salzarulo. Born in the Bronx, New York, William was the cherished son of the late Vito and Mary (Duonolo) Salzarulo.
William was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War from 1951-1954. He was a computer operator at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston for over 30 years. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, most especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
William was the devoted father of Mary Ann Nardone of Plymouth, MA. He was the adored grandfather of Jason Salzarulo and his wife Jill of Lowell, Nicholas Nardone and his wife Stephanie of Boston and Kim Gustafson and her husband Bill of Plymouth, MA. William was the adored grandfather of Bella and Bianca Gustafson and Noelle Nardone. William was predeceased by his dear siblings and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 31, from 10-11AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street, Medford, followed by a Graveside Service to be held at 11:30AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
