Mary L. (Travers) Bowman, 74, of Westport, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was the longtime partner of Brian W. King of Westport.
Ms. Travers was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph Travers, Jr. and the late Edith L.(Desjardins) Travers and had been a lifelong resident of Westport. She had worked for the Westport Police Department in her earlier years, later went on to work in the accounting department for the former Eastern Utilities of W. Bridgewater and retired from the former Westport Antiques Center where she worked as manager. She loved all animals.
Survivors along with her partner include her special friend: Donna Parrillo of Westport and her granddaughter.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Travers III.
