SOMERSET – Vivian Ann (Cabral) Cookson, age 68 of Somerset, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020 after a lengthy & courageous battle with cancer. Born in Fall River, she was the beloved wife of the late Wayne Cookson and the daughter of the late Gil T. & Olive P. (Moniz) Cabral.
Vivian’s interests were dancing at the Am. Legion Hall, fishing with her husband, and most of all spending quality time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons: Wayne S. Cookson (wife Victoria) of Fall River, and Kevin J. Cookson of Somerset; her sister Deborah A. Massad (husband Francis) of Somerset; four grandchildren: Jadin W., Casey L., Chelsea A., and Preston J. Cookson; nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Vivian was the sister of the late Kenneth T., Stephen T., and Ronald T. Cabral.
