Israel “Cholo” Rosado, age 65, of Hyde Park, formerly of Aricebo, Puerto Rico, passed away on October 25, 2020, with his daughters by his bedside after a long illness of lung cancer. Husband of Diane (Whelton) Rosado. He was the son of Tomasa “Coco” (Toledo) Rosado and the brother of Hector Rosado and his wife Carmen Rosado of New Hampshire and Juan Rosado of Brighton. Cholo was the loving father to Melissa Rosado of Hyde Park, Yolanda Rosado of Hyde Park, Sheryl Rosado of Brighton and the late Melinda (Rosado) Mangual of Brockton. He was a devoted grandfather to Rubbie, Israel, Lilianna, Xavier, Leamaya, Ashley, Elijah, Adrianna and loved by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Monday November 2 from 5-7 PM. His family will gather again at the funeral home on Tuesday November 3 from 10 AM - 11AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
