Jeanne L. DiIorio, 72, of Maureen Circle in Mapleville, died Sunday, October 25th in the Hospice Intake Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Garry J. DiIorio.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Eugene L. and Frances M. (Johnston) Lincourt. She had lived in Mapelville for 18 years previously living in Smithfield. She had been a Teacher and most recently worked as a substitute Teacher in the Burrillville School System.
Jeanne was a member of the Glocester Country Club and was an ardent supporter of her grandchildren’s sporting activities. Her grandchildren were her life. She was also very active with the Greenville Baptist Church Missionary.
She leaves her daughters, Kristen J. DiChiaro and her husband Robert Gelinas of Burrillville and Karen Van Gorden and her husband Brian of Smithfield, her grandchildren Joshua, Brandon, Jacob, Benjamin, Cody, Logan, Jack and Brady. She was the sister of the late John A. “Jack” Lincourt.
A private funeral was held and burial was in Highland Park in Johnston. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of RI, 1150 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910.
