Robert M. “Bobby” Pieper, a resident of East Boston and formerly of Charlestown, passed away surrounded by his loved ones in the morning hours of Saturday, October 24, 2020, after a courageous fight with cancer. He was 63 years of age.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Linda M. (D’Amato) Pieper; his two children Amanda Pieper, and Robert Pieper and his companion Zuleimy Ortega ; his only grandchild Angela Pieper. His mother Margaret (Malone) Pieper; his siblings; sister Peggy Ann and Husband Mark Connolly; brothers; Kevin Pieper and his wife Tish; Paul Pieper and his wife Sheila; and by many of his nieces and nephews.
Born May 12, 1957 on Mother’s day to Margaret “Peggy” Malone Pieper and his late Father Robert L. Pieper. He was the eldest of 4 siblings. Born in Everett and grew up most of his life in Charlestown and later in life in East Boston. He has worked for the Boston public school system for the past 19 years. He was always a hard worker and always brought his charismatic energy wherever he went. He was a Devoted Son, Husband, Father, and grandfather to his- as he would say “His Flawless Angela!”- Only Grandchild. He was proud to be called a Townie and was proud of his Irish and German roots. He always had so much energy for life and love for his family and close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bobby’s Visiting hours on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 4 to 8 P.M in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His Funeral Service and burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett will be private. (FACIAL COVERINGS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED INSIDE OF THE FUNERAL HOME.)
