Panagiotis “Peter” Zaifides, age 60, died at his home in Middleboro, MA on October 19, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Peter was born in Katerini, Greece to parents Anastasios and Sofia. After coming to Massachusetts, Pater worked at his family’s Greek style pizza restaurant and eventually continued the Zaifides tradition of owning his own restaurants. He was not only passionate for cooking, but also for woodworking, doing home improvement projects, and spending time with family and friends. He also loved driving and working on fast cars, including his Corvettes, Camaros, and beloved Shelby Mustang. Peter is survived by his son Timothy Zaifides of Wrentham, MA; son Peter Zaifides, Jr. and wife Sasha of Fayetteville, NC; daughter Candy Damon and fiancé Francis Cass of Middleboro, MA; sister Nancy Petalidas of Haverhill, MA; sister Chrisoula Nohos of North Attleboro, MA; grandchildren Jordan Damon and Jacob Stephanian, both of Middleboro, MA; his nieces and nephews; and his Golden Retriever, Remy. The family is holding private services and they under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
